In commemoration of the great event of the Isra' Mi'raj of Prophet Muhammad Shallalahu 'Alaihi Wassalam, the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications and departments as well as regulatory agencies under it held an Isra' Mi'raj Celebration. Organised by the Authority for Infocommunications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam, AITI, the celebration was held at the Ministry.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. It was highlighted with a special talk titled 'Prayer as the Foundation of Human Capital Excellence', delivered by Dayang Siti Syuhaidah binti Haji Mohd. Yusoff, Religious Development Officer, Islamic Da'wah Centre. The talk, among other things, emphasised the importance of prayer in developing self-discipline and spiritual excellence.
